HOW TO GET TO LOMBARDY?
Arriving by plane, the best airports are in Milan: Malpensa and Linate Forlanini, for Lake Como, Bergamo Orio al Serio for Iseo or Garda and Brescia Montichiari for Garda, all have daily national and international flights. Travelling by car, the road network in Lombardy is divided into motorways, main roads, provincial roads and local roads. These make it easy to connect throughout the region, making it easy to reach both important centres and smaller urban towns.

Como is on Italy's main railway network and trains run from Milan to Como frequently, taking around 40 minutes. They depart from Milan's Stazione Centrale and Stazione Porta Garibaldi, and arrive at San Giovanni, Como's main station.
